Overview
The brand was something people did.
Beer Fit Club began with an unconventional idea: bring together two worlds that rarely shared the same brand space, fitness and craft beer.
I created the identity, business concept, event experience, marketing system, partnerships, research, and expansion strategy around that idea.
The result was a lifestyle brand designed to connect people with local breweries through movement, community, and a really good pint.
The Challenge
How do you make beer and fitness belong together?
Beer Fit Club needed to feel natural inside both worlds without becoming a gym brand that happened to serve beer or a brewery promotion with fitness added onto it.
Research and Discovery
The business was built by listening.
Market research and attendee feedback showed that Beer Fit Club was not simply bringing people into breweries. It was introducing attendees to new local businesses and encouraging them to stay, spend, and recommend those breweries afterward.
Strategy
Stay Fit. Drink Local.
The positioning needed to capture the contradiction at the center of the brand without overexplaining it.
The goal was not to promote beer as fitness. It was to create a more realistic lifestyle brand around enjoying both.
From there, every part of the experience could reinforce the same idea: move your body, meet people, discover somewhere local, and stick around for a beer afterward.
Art Direction
A pint glass became a sneaker.
The Beer Fit Club identity combined visual cues from fitness and craft beer into one recognizable system.
The centerpiece was the pint glass graphic, where sneaker-style laces transformed the glass into something that belonged equally to both worlds.
Distressed typography and an orange, black, white, and gray palette gave the brand the energy of independent craft beer culture while remaining bold enough to work across events and merchandise.

Logo System
The glass carried the hook.
The laced pint glass made the brand idea visible at a glance: beer, movement, and local culture in one mark that could work on glasses, shirts, signage, and event photography.
Brand in Action
The identity became part of the event.
At participating breweries, attendees encountered the brand through real bodies, real glasses, real rooms, and social moments that made the idea instantly legible.
Earned Media
A self-built brand people talked about.
Beer Fit Club earned mentions and features across national, digital, local, food, and culture media, including Hop Culture, Fitness Insider, the Houston Chronicle, Brooklyn Magazine, UNILAD, News 12, Newsday, Cheddar, Fox & Friends, Edible Brooklyn, The Wall Street Journal, and Brokelyn.
The selling point was not only the press. Beer Fit Club was entirely my own project: I created the concept, identity, marketing, partnerships, event experience, research, content, and growth strategy myself.

Cross-Channel Execution
One idea. An entire brand ecosystem.
Beer Fit Club extended across brewery partnerships, fitness events, branded environments, social media, email marketing, promotional campaigns, print collateral, event graphics, apparel, pint glasses, photography, and business development.
Each touchpoint had a job, but the system worked because every piece came back to the same promise: stay fit, drink local, and meet people in the process.
The Invisible Work
People saw the party.
I was building the business.
I was not simply designing graphics for an existing company. I was acting as founder, strategist, designer, marketer, researcher, partnership lead, event producer, content creator, and creative director.
Every brewery relationship had to be developed. Every event needed to attract an audience. Every visual touchpoint had to reinforce the identity.
The research also had to demonstrate that Beer Fit Club was creating measurable value for brewery partners, not just hosting a fun event.
Expansion
Could a local idea become repeatable?
After the concept proved itself locally, I explored Beer Fit Club as something larger than a single-market event brand, including opportunities in Austin and Seattle.
Model
Brewery partnership structure, event format, branded touchpoints, and post-event social behavior became pieces of a repeatable experience.
Market
The concept was shaped for craft beer cities where local breweries, active communities, and social experiences already overlapped.
Question
The expansion work reframed the brand around what made Beer Fit Club feel like Beer Fit Club, no matter what city it lived in.
Result
A brand people could participate in, photograph, recommend, cover, and come back to.
Beer Fit Club connected fitness, craft beer, local businesses, and community under one identity, while giving brewery partners measurable value through discovery, dwell time, purchases, recommendations, press coverage, and word of mouth.
